On November 16th and 17th the Workshop “Integral Leadership and Advocacy” took place in Peru, conducted by Etel Nina Cáceres, leader of the Advocacy Program for Women’s Rights, Faith Based, Mission 21.

35 women from Canchis-Peru participated on the Workshop, each from their different points of view, thinking, feeling and understanding of the world. The Workshop offered a new methodology which starts from a self-diagnostic and its organizational diagnostic, bringing back the memory of the path already travelled and helping to connect them with the four elements of nature, so they can strengthen their domains, sustainability, relationships, thoughts, dreams and actions.

As a result of this process of empowering women leadership, it has been strengthened the influence over the local government in support of Women’s Rights.  For instance, the Major of Canchis has publicly committed to open a dialogue on December 6th.
